Rain or shine we are going to have some tasty treats tomorrow morning at the market (9 to 1 at the Saanich Fairgrounds).
In partnership with the Roost Farm Centre we will have green gooseberry blossoms. This pastry treat looks so good, you won’t want to eat it. Also new this week, we will have white currant raspberry pies, one of our favourite combinations. We will also have black currant scones, which thanks to your suggestions, we have tweaked the recipe so they are lighter and fluffier than ever.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a market day without our popular black currant tarts, made by Breadstuffs Bakery.
