In memory of Sean Laidley, and in recognition of his and Pamela Fox’s shared vision of health and wellness, a scholarship has been created at Stelly’s Secondary School.
Sean and partner Pamela both graduated from Stelly’s Secondary. The scholarship is for students who wish to pursue studies with similar holistic values, such as chiropractic, naturopathic medicine, holistic nutrition, horticulture and agriculture.
Sean and Pamela re-connected later in their lives to form a deeply loving relationship. Finding each other in the later years of their life journey fulfilled them in ways they had never imagined possible. Their values and goals intersected and overlapped perfectly, which meant that their connections became deep and profound very quickly.
With Sean’s work as a healing practitioner, and Pamela’s life as a farmer on the land, they shared common values of good health and well-being. Sean cherished being at the farm where he found a sense of peace and connectedness with the land and the community. He was looking forward to living and having his practice there until his sudden passing.
To honour their partnership and their shared vision of health and wellness, Pamela created the Laidley/Fox Scholarship.
