We’re starting to see some colour in those berry rows!
We’ll be at the Peninsula Country Market today from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Saanich Fairground, 1528 Stelly’s Cross Rd., in Central Saanich, so don’t forget to drop by and see your Favourite Farm Girl while you’re out celebrating Canada’s 150th.
We’ll have the first berries of the season and of course, our famous Black Currant Concentrate. Pictured below are our summer pudding baskets. This week’s include black, red, and white currants, red gooseberries, and josta berries (a cross between a currant and a gooseberry).
If you miss us at today’s market, give the farm a call (250-652-5227) to place an order because these fresh currants won’t last long!
Those of you waiting for cherries, they’re not quite ripe yet. We’ll keep you posted!
