Don’t miss your Favourite Farm Girl this weekend at the Saanich Fairgrounds, 1528 Stelly’s X Road, for the Christmas in the Manger Craft Fair.
Not only will she have lots of her speciality – Black Currant Concentrate – but there will also be plenty of freshly baked black currant scones and pies. They make a great snack or freeze beautifully for a wonderful breakfast Christmas morning. But that breakfast won’t be complete without some black currant jam and if you want to make sure you’re on Santa’s good list, leave him a splash of Black Currant Concentrate in his milk.
With more than 150 vendors, this craft fair runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Nov. 26 and 27. Admission is $2 (children under 12 are free) and parking is free. Refreshments will be available for purchase and there’s even a children’s play area. For more information go to saanichfair.ca.
