Crop Update

Thanks to all of this heat we’ve been having, all of our berries are about two weeks ahead.

That means:

The first of our cherries are ripe! Our first variety is a Lapin, comparable to a Bing, and they are going quickly from the farm stand. If you’re in the area keep an eye out for our white and red cherry signs around the neighbourhood when we have cherries available. They are just starting so our supply can be a little limited as we want to make sure we are picking the tastiest cherries on the branch. Please phone ahead, we’d be happy to take an order and have them ready for you when you’re in the area! 250.652.5227.

If this weather continues we should have black currants available by Saturday, July 4th, or maybe even earlier. Please phone ahead for any black currant orders.

Our red and white currants are still a little ways away but in the mean time we’d be happy to take an order and have them ready for you when you want to pick them up.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to phone the farm, 250.652.5227. Please leave a message, we’re just out in the field and will get back to you right away.
