It took a whole team and more hours than expected but we have the nets up over the cherry trees, including our newest additions. A big thank you to everyone that lent a hand!
Brewing Delights
We’ve had a few visitors from Spinnakers Brewpub lately and we can’t wait to taste what they’ve been busy concocting with our black and red currants! Keep an eye on their menu for some currant infused delights! (Photo via @spinnakersbrewpub on Instagram)
Crop Update
The berries are coming in nicely! If this weather keeps up we will likely have cherries in late June or early July and our currants will be right behind, probably the second week in July. We’ll keep you posted!
Garlic and Strawberries
Andrew has been very busy – or should we say berry busy – this spring! He has several thousand strawberry plants growing and those delicious berries are expected later this summer. He will also have his beautiful garlic again this year!
